Simon Ensor Personal Trainer

Nutrition

Losing weight steadily is the safest way to work towards your ideal weight. It helps ensure that the weight STAYS OFF and that your weight wont yo-yo up and down. If in the past you've tried all of the diets out there, don’t worry, I won’t be putting you on anything like that. I can advise you what you should be eating for your individual programme needs, combined with exercise your weight will soon begin to head in the right direction.

I believe there's no real "bad" food out there really, it’s just the amount you eat that can be the problem with weight management.

When studying for my nutrition and weight management qualification, a tutor told me about an experiment in which a person was given a plate full of food of which they ate everything. The following day they were blindfolded and given exactly the same amount of food , they only ate half. This just proves that often your eyes can be bigger than your belly.
